Role Overview

We are seeking an AI Marketing Operations Executive for a paid internship aimed at recent graduates. In this role you will learn to harness artificial intelligence to streamline marketing processes, automate routine tasks and generate data‑driven insights that fuel our email and eCRM programmes. Working closely with our strategists, technologists and designers, you will help implement AI tools across client accounts, analyse performance and ensure campaigns are executed efficiently and ethically.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Tools & Automation: Explore and implement AI tools (e.g. generative AI, predictive analytics and content creation tools) to automate marketing workflows, personalise communications and improve efficiency
• Data Analysis & Insights: Analyse customer data and campaign results to identify trends and opportunities; use AI‑driven insights to support segmentation and targeting strategies
• Campaign Optimisation: Assist in developing and testing multi‑channel marketing campaigns across email, SMS and social, leveraging AI for personalisation and A/B testing
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive marketing tasks and support the optimisation of internal workflows, documentation and playbooks
• Platform Management: Help configure and maintain marketing platforms (such as Klaviyo, Braze and HubSpot) and integrate AI tools; ensure data integrity and compliance across systems
• Collaboration & Support: Work with strategists, designers, developers and data specialists to deliver AI‑powered campaigns; contribute to training sessions and create clear documentation and reports for both internal teams and clients
• Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all AI‑driven marketing activities adhere to GDPR and other data‑privacy laws; stay up to date with ethical AI guidelines, emerging tools and industry trends

Skills and Experience

• Recent graduate (within the last two years) in AI, marketing, data science or a related field, with a strong interest in AI and marketing technology
• Demonstrable experience in creating AI agents and using AI to solve marketing problems
• Nice to have: familiarity with marketing automation platforms (Klaviyo, Braze or similar)
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data; proficient in spreadsheets and basic statistics; coding experience (e.g. Python) is a plus
• Some understanding of email and digital marketing concepts, including customer journeys and segmentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to convey complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
• Self‑motivated, organised and eager to learn; able to manage multiple tasks in a remote setting
• Collaborative team player with enthusiasm for innovation and continuous improvement

Contract Details

• Contract Type: Internship/post‑graduate position
• Location: Fully remote (but you must be UK-based), with occasional in‑person meetings in London
• Salary/Allowance: Competitive internship salary, commensurate with ability
• Start Date: September/October 2025 or as soon as the right candidate is available
• Duration: 9–12 months, with potential to extend or convert into a permanent role
